While in an IEP meeting, I mentioned to my student's mother that Mary
our Special Education Supervisor will be coming in a few minutes late.
My student's sister who is 4 1/2 years old asked, "Who's Mary?" So I
told her, "my boss". She further asked, "Why do you have a boss?" So I
asked, "You don't think I need a boss?" To which she replied, "No. I
think you can handle yourself!"
