While playing a game of Candyland with a client, she decided to skip my turn to take two. I interjected by saying, "Hey I've got to go!" (Meaning I've got to take my turn). She looked at me confused and said, "Ok, goodbye."
I am a: mother to two little boys, wife, "Girl Boss", Aunt, Sister, Daughter, Speech Language Pathologist, God Mother, Friend, Enemy, and Photographer. I have a healthy appreciation for laughter and appreciate being able to make informed decisions. This blog is titled literally after my grandmothers button collection and the initial writings centered around the funny things children say in honor of my paternal grandmother and her family famous notebooks of laughable librettos her grandchildren said. It has since morphed into a collection of funny things said to me by children as their therapist, musings of life, and a photography blog circle.
