Most of all the other beautiful things in life come by twos and threes, by dozens and hundreds. Plenty of roses, stars, sunsets, rainbows, brothers and sisters, aunts and cousins, but only one mother in the whole world.

One would think that given the fact that my mother was in town this weekend I would have had time to take a picture of her.  

I didn't have time.

 I was busy making memories from in front of the camera lens (this time) while shopping for a dress.

It isn't that I don't have a picture of my mom, it is that I don't have a recent (within the past 7 days) photo of her.

So, I cheated- looking back into quick snapshots I found these two pictures of her this past summer.

All of these beautiful women are mothers.
